سياسة الإستخدام العادل بالـADSL والـADSL2 PLUS
ماهى سياسة الإستخدام العادل ؟
تضمن لك سياسة الإستخدام العادل الحصول على خدمة الـADSL سريعة وموثوقة فى جميع الأوقات ، وذلك من خلال تخصيص حد من التنزيل(download) لجميع السرعات غير المحدودة طبقا للسرعة التي تم الإشتراك عليها، يتم تخفيض السرعة بعده إلي 128Kbps و لا يتم إيقاف الخط أو الحد من سعة التنزيل بعده، وذلك لضمان حصول المشتركين على أفضل مستوى من الخدمة.
لماذا لدينا سياسة الإستخدام العادل ؟
هذا قرار صادر من الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الإتصالات ويطبق على جميع الشركات التى توفر خدمة الإنترنت، وقد صدر هذا القرار لأن هناك عدد من العملاء يستخدمون خدمات السرعة غير المحدودة بشكل غير مناسب، فعلى سبيل المثال بعض الناس يتبادلون خط الإشتراك الخاص بالـADSL مع جيرانهم أو أصدقائهم عبر ال WIFI أو الكابلات. مثل هذا العمل الغير قانونى يُحمل الشبكة بحركة زائدة غير متوقعة وغير محسوبة إلى أجهزة الكمبيوتر المُتصلة بشبكة واحدة على هذا الخط، هذه الحركة الإضافية والعدد الإضافى من العملاء تأخذ الحركة والسرعة من المُستخدمين الشرعيين لخدمة الـ ADSL وبالفعل جعل إتصالهم بالشبكة بطيء وضعيف .
سياسة الإستخدام العادل تراقب هذه السلوكيات الضارة والغير مشروعة وتتخذ الإجراءات المُناسبة ،
ومن الواضح أن هؤلاء المُستخدمين الذين يسيئون إستعمال موارد الشبكة وتؤثر على نوعية الخدمة المُقدمة لباقى المُستخدمين .
وهذا هو اساس ما نحاول أن نؤكده أن خدمات الـADSL تُعرض بشكل عادل للجميع .
كيف تطبق سياسة الإستخدام العادل؟
تم تحديد حد أقصى لجميع السرعات غير المحدودة ويحسب إستهلاك المستخدم شهريا، وعندما تصل حركة المرور الخاصة بكل خط إلى الحد المُعين لها يتم خفض السرعة إلى 128 كيلو بيت حتى نهاية الإشتراك الشهري وتعود السرعة إلى طبيعتها في بداية الشهر الجديد، .
فما هو حجم الحركة التى تسمح بها سياسة الإستخدام العادل ؟
حجم حركة المرور تحدد بناءا على السرعة المتعاقد عليها، لذا يمكنك إختيار السرعة التى تناسب إستخدامك:
• سرعة 512kbps: الحد الأقصى يصل إلى 25GB
• سرعة 1Mbps: الحد الأقصى يصل إلى 40GB
• سرعة 2Mbps: الحد الأقصى يصل إلى60GB
• سرعة 4Mbps: الحد الأقصى يصل إلى 80GB
• سرعة 8Mbps: الحد الأقصى يصل إلى 120GB
• سرعة 16Mbps: الحد الأقصى يصل إلى 180GB
• سرعة 24Mbps: الحد الأقصى يصل إلى 250GB
ولمراقبة ومتابعة معدل استخدامك يمكنك إنزال برنامج عداد استخدام الإنترنت الذي يمكنك من معرفة استخدامك في أي وقت.
أنا عميل عادى لـADSL هل سياسة الإستخدام العادل ستؤثر على ؟
إن حركة المرور التى تم تحديدها هي كم كبير من الـجيجا بايت مما يتيح لك الفرصة لتنزيل عدد من الأفلام ومئات من الأغاني وتصفح الإنترنت لساعات طويلة وإرسال وإستلام الآلاف من الرسائل البريدية شهريا. لذا فإنك لن تتأثر بهذه السياسة إلا إذا كنت تتيح الفرة للآخرين بإستخدام الخدمة وهذا أمر غير شرعي.
الجدول التالي سيساعدك على أن تتعرف على معدل استخدامك للإنترنت:

سياسة الإستخدام العادل ستؤثر عليك في هذه الحالات فقط:
• مستخدمي شبكات تبادل الملفات (Peer to Peer) الذين ينزلون ويحملون عدد كبير من ملفات المالتي ميديا بشكل مبالغ فيه.
• إستخدام الإشتراك الواحد لأكثر من مستخدم مثل الجيران سواءا من خلال الكابلات أو الـWiFi
• مشاركة كلمة السر واسم المستخدم واحد (الذي تعطيه لك TE Data) بين عدد من المستخدمين فإستخدامهم يخصم من حركة امرور المحددة.
• أي نشاطات أخرى غير شرعية أو زيادة في الإستخدام .

كيف تتم عملية حساب الإستهلاك؟
عندما ترسل أو تستلم أي شئ عبر الإنترنت فهي تتمثل في قطع من البيانات وتقاس هذه البيانات بالكيلوبايت(KB) وميجابايت (MB) وجيجابايت (GB) ويوجد في كل ميجابايت 1024 كيلوبايت وفي كل جيجابايت يوجد 1024 ميجابايت، لذا فإن إجمالي عدد البيانات التى ترسلها وتستلمها تمثل إجمالي إستخدامك لهذا الشهر وفي نهاية كل شهر يتم مقارنة إستخدامك بحركة المرور المحددة لك طبقا لسرعة الإشتراك الخاص بك.
إن معدل إستخدامي اكثر مما أتوقع فماذا أفعل؟
إذا كانت الحصة المخصصة لسرعتك غير كافية أو مناسبة لإستخدامك يمكنك أن ترقي إشتراكك إلى سرعة أكبر تناسب إستخدامك حيث أنه كلما زادت السرعة تصبح الحصة المخصصة لحركة المرور الخاصة بك أكبر، وللتأكد من حصولك على أفضل مستوى خدمة سنتأكد أولا أن خطك الأرضي يناسب السرعة الجديدة.
وماذا سيحدث إذا لم يكن الخط مناسب لترقية الإشتراك؟
في هذه الحالة سنقوم بإرسال أحد أعضاء فريق الدعم الفني لدراسة إمكانية حل المشكلة ولكن إذا لم يمكنه ذلك فللأسف لن يمكنك ترقية الإشتراك.

TE Data Fair Usage Policy (FUP)
What is Fair Use Policy?
FUP is implemented to give all customers optimum service by allocating to each subscriber a monthly usage allowance based on the speed he is subscribed to. This way each customer can get fast and reliable ADSL connection at all times.
Why is TE Data applying the Fair Usage Policy?
TE Data was instructed to apply the Fair Usage Policy by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA). This applies to all licensed Internet Service Providers in Egypt and not just TE Data. The reason why the decision was made to implement it is to ensure that customers are not subjected to bad network experience.
Some customers misuse the unlimited speeds; for example, some people acquire one subscription and extend it to their neighbors or to others around them whether through cables or WiFi which is an illegal act that burdens the networks in an expected way and affects all users of that subscription not to mention the effect it has on those using the network legally.
The Fair Usage Policy monitors the usage of the Unlimited ADSL users to help control the abuse that is happening on the networks.
How does Fair Use Policy work?
A certain quota has been assigned to the different speeds we provide. Traffic volume for each ADSL speed is counted on monthly basis. When this traffic/ data reach the set quota (indicated below for each speed) the speed automatically drops to 128 Kbps till end of the subscription month. The speed is upgraded once more at the beginning of the new month.
What is the traffic volume allowed by the Fair Use Policy?
Traffic volumes vary from one speed to another. For every speed there is a certain allowance, so you can choose the speed that best suits your usage based on the below:
• 25GB for the 512 Kbps speed
• 40GB for the 1 Mbps speed
• 60GB for the 2 Mbps speed
• 80GB for the 4 Mbps speed
• 120GB for the 8 Mbps speed
• 180GB for the 16 Mbps speed
• 250GB for the 24 Mbps speed
To monitor your usage, you can use a search engine to find and download an online-usage meter; search for 'Internet Usage Meter'.
Am I likely to be affected by the Fair Use Policy?
The GB allowance is HUGE! It allows you to download a number of full length movies, hundreds songs, as well as browse the Internet for endless number of hours, and send/receive thousands of emails each month! So, if you don't share your ADSL line with others then it's very unlikely you'll ever be affected by this policy.
The following table gives an indication of the size of common user activities on the internet

Those most likely to be affected by a fair usage policy are:
• Users of peer-to-peer networks with excessive uploading and downloading of multimedia files
• Subscribers sharing their line with friends and neighbors (wired or wireless)
• Subscribers sharing their user name and passwords (provided by TE Data) with other subscribers, in this case the usage is deducted from the allowed quota of the original subscriber.
• Any other excessive downloading or illegal activities

How does calculating the usage works?
Everything sent or received over the internet consists of bits of data. The amount of data is measured in kilobytes (KB), megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB). 1MB=1024KB, 1GB=1024MB. The total amount of data you send and receive each month is your total monthly usage, and at the end of the month we compare this with the monthly usage allowance of your selected speed.
My usage is higher than I expected. What can I do?
If the allowed monthly quota according to the FUP is not satisfying your requirements or you are regularly exceeding your allowed limit we suggest that you upgrade to the higher speed which has a higher allowance that will be adequate for your needs. But before doing so, we will need to check if your line will support the higher speed to ensure that it will work efficiently.
What if my line can not support the higher speed?
In that case, we will ask our technical team to try and fix that for you, but if they are unable to do so, then unfortunately, you will have to remain on your current speed.
