*نظرة عامة*

هرب منذ خمسة سنوات كارل جونسون من ضغوط الحياة في لوس سانتوس ، سان أندرياس… مدينة تمزق نفسيا بسبب وجود حرب عصابات ، مخدرات وفساد. حيث نجوم الافلام ومليونيريات يفعلون ما بوسعخم ليتفادوا البائعين ومشاحنات العصابات.
الآن ، فى مبكّرة التسعينات. كارل قرر ان يذهب الى بيته, لكن امه كانت قد قتلت ، أسرته قد سقطط جزئيا و طفولته و اصقاءه كلهم يشيروا الى كارثة.
عند عودته إلى الجوار ، اثنان فاسدين من الشرطة يقحموه فى عملية قتل. س.ج اجبر على رحلة عبر سان اندرياس ، لينقز اهله و ليأخذ السيطرة على الشوارع.

الهدف الاتوتوماتيكى حسنت نظامه و لو علامة توضح حالة الشخص على حصب الالوان أهداف اللون الأخضر (بكامل صحته) ، صفراء (صحته منخفضة) وأحمر (قرب موت).
يركب بعض الشرطين الآن على درّاجة ناريّة
يستطيع سرقت منازل
أجبال ونهور حاضرة في الريف ، بما في ذلك جبل ضخمة. صحراء أيضا في اللعبة.

Emmet is only seen once in the game. He's the local "gun guy" providing pieces to any and all of the gangs to the East of Los Santos. He teaches Carl some shooting skills and offers to help out with weapons, however his small yard only has one pistol which can be picked up at all times through the game. If you need a piece for free, Emmet is the place to go

Madd Dogg is the real thing when it comes to Gangster Rapping. He's got the rhymes, the girls and the cash, not to mention a huge mansion. Unfortunately, like most highly rated celebrities he can't resist turning to the alcohol and ends up losing almost everything from his manager, to his mansion and almost to his life. Thanks to Carl Johnson he eventually gets back on his feet though and goes on to retain his spot as the number one rapper in Los Santos.

Cesar is not so liked by the Johnsons at the start, apart from Kendl of course who he is dating, however after a few meetings with Carl a friendly partnership is made which gets stronger and stronger as the game progresses. Cesar is the one person who tells Carl exactly what's going on, even if he doesn't like it himself and Carl is happy to call him his Brother In Law when Wu Zi Mu labels him under that. He has a huge love for cars, modifications and street racing and plays a large part in getting the Johnson's garage business underway. Most definitely Carl's best friend throughout the game.

Frank Tenpenny is one mean cop. He hates all gangs and will do whatever it takes to remove it from his city. Whatever it takes. He's the boss of the C.R.A.S.H. and doesn't care how many laws he breaks on his quest to rid Los Santos from gang warfare. He doesn't just go about killing everyone when he feels like it though. He's a clever man who uses whoever he can get. If two gangs will splatter each others guts on the sidewalk so he doesn't have to, he'll happily provoke such an action. All of his hypocrisy eventually causes problems across Los Santos which can't end up good for him.

Pulaski is Tenpenny's law enforcing sidekick. He tries to be as tough as the main man Frank, but he clearly looks like he's putting on a tough shell. He still hates gangs though, especially Carl Johnson's Grove Street Families, but like Frank he's also clever enough to see that Carl will do work they don't have to. His cocky attitude
will surely get him in trouble too

Ran Fa Li (Farlie)

Ran Fa Li is a man of few words. Well, none actually. You will however hear the occasional grunt, but in all honesty he's just one of the side characters who is said to be high up in the Triads. He eventually goes on to be Wu Zi Mu's partner at his casino, but doesn't play a very big role in the game.

Wu Zi Mu is the leader of the Mountain Cloud Boys, a division of the Chinese Triads. Although he is completely blind, he has trained his other senses to a point where you could barely tell the difference. Or so he says. He is blessed with extreme good fortune however though and manages to come through numerous street races without a scratch. He then moves onto bigger things and opens a Casino in Las Venturas which causes a lot of problems. Especially when trying to run a Triad Casino in a Mafia run town. Woozie is definitely one of the coolest people in the game and makes instant friends with Carl.
