Job Objectives:
Responsibilities and duties
1. Daily duties:
• Monitors, identifies and analyses all projects costs with a view of facilitating the completion of the project at minimum cost and within budget limits.
• Monitors and analyses all the progress of the construction activities, identifies any variances between the planned and actual progress and advises project management of their impact on the overall program. Also suggests remedial action as necessary.
• Provides overall supervision to his subordinate engineers carrying out the functions of planning, cost control & quantity surveying.
• Monitors all change orders to the contract.
• Supervises the preparation of the monthly cost report.
